- Kerala Hog Plum – 10 to 20 numbers or 500gm
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Mustard dhal or powder -1/2tsp
- Red chilly powder- 2tsp
- Salt-4 tbsp
- Fenugreek seeds-1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida (kayam)-1pinch
- Green chilly 4 Numbers (optional)
- Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
- Garlic (optional)

Take oil in the pan heat it,reduce the flame add mustard seeds ,fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and kayam or asafoetida soute for a while.
Then add ambazhnga and salt pieces and stir constantly
